Prairie Arctic Member Helps Area Youngsters Experience a Scaffold Build

At a recent Stepping Stones Career Fair in Regina, Canada, more than 1500 youth visit with about 80 exhibitors, including ICON Construction and Scaffolding Ltd. ICON displayed an interactive information booth for scaffolding, emphasizing the importance of training supplied by the UBC and the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship programs.

Sisters and brothers from the Prairie Arctic Regional Council had the chance to be part of the music industry recently.

On April 30, 2016, Sisters from Local 70, in the Pacific Northwest Regional Council, celebrated National Women Build Week by participating in a Habitat for Humanity project.

Saskia Brown, carpenter foreman for Sellen, received the Tradeswoman of the Year award from the Washington Women in Trades organization.
