12 Women Start Pre-Apprenticeship Program in Long Island

Long Island, New York is celebrating the start of its second pre-apprenticeship program for women.

Jobsite Women’s Appreciation Lunches – that’s how New England Regional Council (NERCC) general contractors are hoping to retain women.

With over 500 female students attending, the third annual Eastern Massachusetts GIT (Girls in Trades) Conference and Career Fair was a huge success.
