Yajaira Torres, Local 254 Council Representative, recently welcomed the opportunity to talk about the UBC’s actions to recruit and retain women. She did so by speaking on a panel at the Women Construction and Utilities Talent Network Industry Summit.

Yajaira talked about recruitment and retention, but she also talked about the training opportunities for women – sharing specifics on strategy as well as practices.
