On January 12, 2017, 14 Sisters and 3 future apprentices attended the SIB meeting. Much of the discussion centered around ongoing outreach to local colleges. Lisa Clauson, SIB Chair has been spearheading an effort to encourage women’s colleges to hire women contractors for construction work. They have achieved some success, but outreach is continuing.
