This year, the Girls Exploring Technology & Trades (GETT) camp included Carpentry in their program; and three Sisters were there to tout the trades as a career option. They did this by showing the girls how to safely use tools and equipment to build desks, providing support and encouragement along the way.

At the end of the week, the girls displayed their desks and talked positively about the activities. This was all captured in a “Discover Moose Jaw” newspaper article, where the girls and instructors shared their excitement about the hands-on Carpentry experience.
