On April 30, 2016, Sisters from Local 70, in the Pacific Northwest Regional Council, celebrated National Women Build Week by participating in a Habitat for Humanity project. The location was in Whatcom County, Washington and the project was a welcome shelter for 24 families that will occupy townhouses being built in the near future.
The Girl Scouts helped out as well. They raised money by selling cookies to purchase food; which they served to the Sisters and other volunteers during lunch.
As these pictures show, the Sisters worked hard and were excited about the project.
