Sisters Raise $1,900 for Head Start

COTRAIC Head Start of Pittsburgh needed money to buy cold-weather clothing for the low-income kids they serve, and Keystone Mountain Lakes Sisters stepped in to help. Sisters requested donations from Local Unions in the Council, and they responded generously.

Checks totaling $1,900 were presented to Jennifer Johnson and Kate Sinatra of COTRAIC (pictured holding the checks). The money will be used to buy coats, hats, and gloves for preschoolers and their siblings in the five Head Starts throughout the city.

Sisters were excited to help, and plan to continue the relationship – serving as volunteers and positive role models.
