On October 3, 2017, New England Sisters held their second monthly Open House for women interested in construction careers. The goal is to share information about apprenticeship, Unions, and the application process. Almost 50 women attended this month!

Once again, members of the Speakers Bureau delivered a 20-minute presentation. They also answered questions and held one-on-one discussions. Called “Tradeswomen Tuesdays,” they plan to host Open Houses on the first Tuesday of each month through the end of the year.

Sisters that presented and organized this month’s event include Hieu Nguyen, Mikey Myles, Latisha McQueen from Local 67, Michelle Wright from Local 40, and Barbara Boynton.
