Sisters from Indiana, Kentucky, & Ohio helped some seventh-grade students create custom benches for Cincinnati Veterans. The benches were created in a first time class called Carpentry Math, which is designed to show students that skills like using a protractor and measuring angles can be applied to real life jobs.
The Sisters enjoyed the experience and took a hands-on approach as is evidenced by Michelle Stallings in these photos. Michelle was even interviewed on WKRC Local 12 News. Click here to see the interview, view the entire photo gallery, and read about the project.
