On Sunday October 23, 2016 Sisters joined other Council volunteers to help the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) with their annual BLOCK KIDS contest. The event was held at the Keystone Mountain Lakes Training Center, with a record 98 kids participating!
The contest is open to students in grades 1 through 6. They have one hour to build an object using Legos and three items from the following: poster board, foil, rock, string. It’s a fun event that promotes construction.
