“Shop talk started the evening, but by the next morning it was more like a family conversation,” that’s how SIB chair Cindy Franks described the Sisters’ bonfire campout experience.

Billed ‘the social event of the year’, Sisters from around the Council came to enjoy the food and camaraderie. Lasting memories were created with Sisters they met for the first time or had known for years.

The campout was a lot of fun, but it was also a way to encourage mentoring and increase retention. Check out these smiling faces in the photo – even some dogs joined in the fun.
