Maria Robles, the newly appointed SIB Chair for the Central South Regional Council, advocated for the UBC and women at a recent Women in Industry Conference in Houston, Texas.

At the conference, Maria participated in a panel on apprenticeships, answering questions about the Union and about career opportunities for women. She also promoted the Texas Carpenters & Millwrights training program to hundreds of women who stopped by the Council exhibit, encouraging them to apply for the program.
