New York Sisters have always welcomed the opportunity to participate in Wreaths Across American Day; and the December 14, 2019 event was no different. This event is dedicated to remember, honor, and teach about the sacrifices of Veterans.  It all happens with volunteers, who coordinate wreath-laying ceremonies at more than 2100 locations in all US states. 

Taking the lead, New York Sisters organized members to participate in this event at six different national cemeteries throughout New York State.  Over 150 members, as well as friends and families, volunteered their time to lay wreaths for Veterans.

It was a moving and rewarding experience.
