With an almost 50 percent turnout, Local 339 considers their first SIB meeting a success. Representing Northeastern and Metro West Massachusetts, committee members contacted all 24 women members in the Local. There were 17 responses with a final count of 11 attending the meeting.

The discussion was productive and positive, with the women being excited about forming an official SIB committee.
