Local 343 had a winner in this year’s annual Apprenticeship contest – Sister Leah Peters.  On June 16, 2018, the Carpentry Trade Improvement Trust Fund (CTITF) hosted the contest in Manitoba. The project required building a column, a small platform with a set of stairs on one side, and an 8-foot wall form with a pilaster. All this had to be on a platform that was leveled and set to an elevation.
