Recognizing the importance of the November 2018 elections, the SIB committee invited a KMLRCC heavy-hitter to their October meeting. This person was Tori Shriver, Deputy Political Director. She spoke about the upcoming elections, Davis Bacon, and Right-to-Work legislation.

Sisters from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia attended the meeting via video conference. They enjoyed the presentation and engaged in the discussion.
