Another six women received their diplomas during an Edison, New Jersey graduation program. They were Synethia Bland, Kim Koering, Shamiera Jackson, Shamira May, Katelynn Sandsmark, and Kelly Ur.

The women successfully completed the Keystone Mountain Lakes pre-apprentice training that is part of a female-focused recruitment program. In addition to the all-star lineup of speakers shown on the flyer, the women talked about their training experience.

In reflecting on their comments, Susan Schultz, Council SIB committee chair, said: “It’s always moving to hear from the graduates, especially when they talk about what they learned from the program.”
