Heather Mayther-Perez, Local 1503, has been applauded for her work ethic, positive attitude, and Union involvement. In recognition of her talents, the Pacific Northwest Carpenter’s Institute (PNCI) staff nominated Heather for the Oregon Tradeswomen “Women on the Rise” award.

The award is given to a female apprentice who has shown exceptional skill in her craft, displayed commitment to her community, and demonstrated outstanding leadership in various areas. The PNCI staff feels Heather excels in these areas and others.
