DC/Washington has First Pre-Apprentice Class for Women

It’s been a while coming, but it’s finally here. Women in Washington, DC and Maryland who want to become Carpenters now have a pre-apprentice program in their area. To make this happen, KMLRCC Sisters worked with the Community Services Agency of MWC (Metro Washington Council).

Women started class on May 6, 2019, and are scheduled to graduate on June 14, 2019. Check them out as they try their hand at using a circular saw.
