After working for months with various community and labor groups to improve access to childcare for Union members, New England Sisters are pleased with the group’s progress. Titled, “Independent Women’s Project”, the group is working to create a comprehensive plan that addresses childcare needs, as well as fair wages for childcare workers. The plan will have public relations and legislative components.
