The topic for the women’s panel at the Canadian District Contractors Conference was “Shifting the Culture”, and Sisters offered ways to make that happen. Atlantic Canada EST Debbie Romero, along with SIB chairs Kristine Byers (British Columbia) and Amanda Leggette (Prairie Arctic), joined other panel members as they presented ideas.

One of these ideas included setting up formal or informal mentorship programs. They also talked about barriers women face and ways to overcome them.

The audience was receptive and the ideas were well-received.
