The SIB committee joined other Building Trades Unions at a recent Women Building Success event. The event provided a learning venue for apprentices and journeymen. It also provided an opportunity for apprentices to showcase their talents by competing in a jobsite/tools/skills photo contest.

One picture shows the crowd, which was treated to an inspiring presentation by guest speaker Pam Borton. Pam shared her Five Strategies for Success. The other picture shows the contest winners holding their submitted photos.

The experience was positive and rewarding – especially for the contest winners.
